Arjuna pods, harvested from the Terminalia Arjunatree, share a botanical lineage with Indian Almond Leaves. They offer a multitude of benefits for aquatic environments, enriching them with tannins that can help create a natural habitat similar to the environments where many aquatic animals naturally thrive. These pods also possess natural antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties, contributing to a healthier aquatic ecosystem.

As these pods decompose, they provide a valuable food source for certain aquatic species, mimicking the leaf litter found in their natural habitats. Additionally, the tannins released during decomposition can help lower and stabilize pH levels in aquarium water, creating conditions that many fish and invertebrates prefer.

For optimal use in your aquarium, we recommend boiling the pods for 15 minutes before adding them, which facilitates sinking and ensures they integrate smoothly into your aquatic setup.
