These are the FRESHWATER media kits:

Our freshwater nutrient media is our own formulation based on Bolds Basal Media and the seawater nutrients f/2. It should be dosed at 1mL/L, as is all of our nutrient medias (however, you can give up to >10x before it becomes toxic). This complete media kit includes everything to maintain pH and keep your freshwater strains happy and healthy!

• Chlamydomonas
• Scenedesmus
• Anabaena

This media kit includes all the nutrients and salts you will add to water to continue the growth of your algae. If you need all the supplies at once, consider one of our many Algae Culture Kits which contains algae, salts, nutrients, (some have growing vessels) everything you need to grow a laboratory-grade culture at home

TO GROW ALGAE YOU WILL NEED: A freshwater starting culture, chlorine free water, a growing vessel (such as a 10-gallon fish tank), air supply (small air pump, not the band, but if you could get the band to sing to the culture- that would be amazing!)
