Installation Steps
1. Mount the double switch part into the top of filter canister. (Please note that the direction of the switch valve should face towards the front of the canister filter when installation. Move the switch handle backwards and return it to its normal position after installation.)
2. Release all the safety latch. (Release 4 safety latch to open the canister filter’s cover.)
3. Hold the handles on both sides to lift the filter cover.
4. Filled the filter canister with water. (Before filling the water, check the filter material inside the filter basket. Each layer contains a piece of filter cotton and a bag of quartz balls. Don’t forget to tear open the plastic bag containing the quartz balls.)
5. Install the inlet pipe.
6. Install the outlet pipe.
7. Connect the inlet and outlet pipes to the filter canister. (When connecting the water inlet and outlet pipes to the canister filter, please must be tightened the connect part.)
8. After all installations are completed, place the water inlet and outlet into the fish tank, then press the exhaust valve 3 to 10 times to ensure that the water pipe is filled with water, then plug in the power and canister filter will start working. (Press the exhaust valve multiple times, please ensure that the water pipe is filled with water!)
